Meet The Doctors
Dr. Bruce Patterson is a chemical engineering graduate of Cornell University and received his DMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He completed his general practice residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, NY. Dr. Patterson has been awarded his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, an outstanding plateau that few dentists have achieved. He has also received certification in a two year program in Orthodontics at the United States Dental Institute and is certified in Invisalign Treatment. He spends 60-70 hours per year in continuing education courses. Dr. Patterson spends his free time skiing, biking and golfing.

Dr. Kenneth P. Nogacek
Dr. Kenneth P. Nogacek graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1989. After earning his dental degree, Dr. Nogacek served in the U.S. Navy for five years. He was stationed in Cherry Point, N.C. and at the U.S Submarine Base in Groton, CT.
During his time in the Navy, Dr. Nogacek was deployed to northern Iraq as part of the humanitarian operation to aid the Kurdish refugees. He is a veteran of the first Gulf War.
Dr. Nogacek has completed post-graduate training in endodontics (root canals), oral surgery, and TMJ (jaw joint) disorders. Dr. Nogacek completed a two-year training program at NYU in the placement and restoration of dental implants. Dr. Nogacek also taught implant dentistry at NYU.
Dr. Nogacek has been certified in sedation dentistry through the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS) and continues to take advanced courses in sedation dentistry. He routinely treats anxious patients with extremely safe sedation techniques.
Dr. Nogacek is a member of the New London County Dental Society and its Peer Review Committee. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, DOCS, the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology, where he is currently working on his fellowship.
Dr. Nogacek and his wife reside in Ledyard with their two daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially watching his girls ride their horses. Dr. Nogacek is active in his community. He coaches girls softball and is active in St. David’s Episcopal Church.

Dr. Melissa J. Nogacek
Dr. Melissa Nogacek has been a general practice dentist for over 20 years. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1989. She completed a general practice residency at the VA Hospital in Washington, D. C. She came to Connecticut in 1991 with her husband, who was a Navy dentist at the time assigned to the Groton Submarine Base. Dr. Nogacek joined Waterford Dental Health in 1992 Dr. Nogacek attends numerous continuing education courses to stay on the leading edge of the dental profession. She has taken many courses in esthetic dentistry, endodontics, and periodontics. She is a certified in sedation dentistry through the Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation (DOCS). She routinely treats anxious and fearful patients with extremely safe sedation techniques. Additionally she routinely takes updated courses in sedation dentistry to maintain her certification. She is a member of the New London County Dental Association, The American Dental Association and DOCS. Dr. Nogacek and her husband, who is also a dentist in the practice, reside in Ledyard with their two daughters. She enjoys singing, horseback riding and spending time with her family. Dr. Jason R. Campbell
Dr. Jason Campbell received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2002 from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Following dental school, Dr. Campbell completed a general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. As a resident, he received post-graduate training in restorative and rehabilitative procedures such as implants, dentures, and oral surgery. This residency also included advanced medical and anesthesia training, allowing Dr. Campbell to comfortably handle more difficult cases and patients who are medically compromised.
Dr. Campbell is Invisalign certified, and has completed orthodontic training with the United States Dental Institute (USDI), which is a well-respected and comprehensive orthodontic training program designed specifically for general dentists.
Being active in organized dentistry has always been a priority for Dr. Campbell. It allows him to be an advocate for both patients and his profession. He is currently serving as Treasurer of the New London County Dental Society, and will serve as President of the Society during the 2014-2015 year. Dr. Campbell regularly attends continuing education courses, and is therefore able to offer patients the most comfortable and cutting edge dentistry available.
Dr. Campbell resides in Colchester with his wife Brandy and their daughter Emily. In his free time, he enjoys mountain and road biking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
